Wall of Baubles
Hotel Megan is up and running! I had my first weekend of visitors (Steve’s family) and they were welcomed with my “Hello Sunshine” door mat and new bauble wall. We squeezed five people in my little studio, making it one big slumber party! It was a weekend full of sightseeing and eating our way through the city…literally. We brunched at Bongo Room, munched at Garretts Popcorn, concocted burgers at Butcher and the Burger, indulged at Molly’s Cupcakes, and splurged on Michigan Ave shopping. It all equals out right? I mean Carrie Bradshaw said it best “Shopping is my cardio”, so it must be true;) haha well at least it’s good for you. You can be expecting some healthy and detoxing recipes soon to balance my weekend splurges with visitors!
Now back to these baubles! I posted a photo of my wall on instagram the other day and have been asked about how I did it. I thought it would make the most sense to share it with everyone! Hope you enjoy:)

Materials:

-Mini clipboards (I bought mine here)
-Nails and 3M tape
-Patterned paper (I printed this cute pattern from online, here)
-Your favorite bauble necklaces

Instructions:

1. Hang clipboard using nails to hammer in through the top loop of the clip. Place a 3M on the bottom of the clipboard to adhese it to the wall. This will help keep it from popping out at the bottom and hold it in place straight.
2. Cut down patterned paper to a little smaller then the clipboard and clip the paper in.
3. Hang necklaces above the clips and that’s it!
