DIY Marble Vase
There’s something about fresh flowers in my studio that makes everything better. Plus how do you go to Trader Joe’s without grabbing flowers on your way out? I mean it’s like going to an ATM and not taking out cash, right? It’s just not normal.

Anyways I love having fresh flowers in the apartment and with an endless supply of vases, I’m always looking for different ways to display them. When I came across this amazing marble contact paper on Amazon, I knew I had to get it. And let’s just say I’m kind of obsessed with it since I had been searching for a long time and everything I found was so expensive or looked super cheap. This one is perfect though, inexpensive and non of the off white color in it.
I initially planed on wrapping my kitchen counters in it, but as you all know I’m moving soon and the new place actually has real marble counters (SCORE!), so I knew this called for a crafting project. This simple DIY vase is the perfect touch to your kitchen floral arrangements and if you don’t want to permanently make the vase marble you can leave the adhesive sticker on the back and double side tape the ends of the paper around the vase. This may be one of the easiest DIYs I’ve posted on the blog and possibly my favorite.
Any other tips for vase decorating? Always love a good floral crafting project!

Materials:

-clear glass vase
-marble contact paper (I used this one from Amazon)
-flowers

Instructions:

Step 1: Measure the contact paper to the vase to cut the paper down to the vase size (You want to make sure it’s the exact heigh and width of the vase so you don’t have over lap or bumps at the bottom)
Step 2: Peel the backing off the contact paper and wrap paper around the vase
