Beaches and Braids
This week has been quite the whirlwind! I never thought six months ago when I was breaking out in stress hives from juggling three jobs that I would now be down to one and one that is the perfect fit for me:) I’ve had many amazing experiences these past two years and I wouldn’t change them for the world! I’ve met people who have become lifelong friends, I’ve learned from my mistakes and successes, I’ve been advised by some remarkable role models and have found myself throughout the journey.
Although I never like to say goodbye, I know that with every end comes a new beginning! I am so excited to embark on my new career adventure and see what another year in the city has in store for me. A little over a year ago I moved here for a summer internship with a full uhaul and an empty bank account haha. I had no idea what I was doing, where I was going or who I wanted to be in my career, but I knew one thing and that was that no matter what I was I would be the best I could at it! Sadly I picked being the best at multiple companies that weren’t hiring at the time, but in the end it’s crazy how every part of my journey got me to where I am today. It goes to show that whoever you meet and wherever you meet them, they might be that person who is going to help you one day! I am beyond excited about so many things I have coming up and can’t wait to share more good news in the future:)
As for now, I’m enjoying every last minute of this warm weather before I bring the parka back out. The other day, Steve and I decided to knock a few more things off of my summer bucket list starting with a picnic at the beach. It was a beautiful day perfect for some fun braids and a breezy cover-up. My Vineyard Vines tote made for the perfect lunch basket and of course some La Croix to drink!

Coverup (old from Old Navy, similar here and love this one)/Swimsuit (old Ralph Lauren, similar)/Beach bag
