How to Gift Wrap a Bouquet & Printables
When I was in high school, I had the option to take three science classes and honors math my Senior year for college credit. Although everyone else was taking gym, art or study hall, my parents told me to take the college credit because I would be thankful down the road. Well I will say I am thankful, because if it wasn’t for those extra credits I would have never been able to take Floral Arrangement 101.
With that being said, I do highly encourage teens to take as many college credit courses while in high school. Although I had enough to graduate a semester early, I knew I wasn’t mentally ready to take on the real world. I instead took classes that I felt would be good things to know for everyday life! So I took a floral arrangement class, which I will admit was not as easy as it sounds. We had tests every week and worked the campus flower shop for extra credit, sounds tough right? Well maybe it wasn’t so tough, but it was definitely useful. I buy fresh flowers almost every time I go grocery shopping and learned how to arrange and take care of them thanks to that class. Plus I wouldn’t be showing you this super cute bouquet wrap if it wasn’t for it. I knew it would be useful one day!
This week I had the honor to watch one of my good friends perform in his comedy show and attend a housewarming party for another friend. What better way to say “bravo” and “home sweet home” than with fresh flower bouquets. Find out how to make these darling bouquets below!

Materials:

-Wrapping paper
-Fresh flowers
-Tissue paper
-Twine or ribbon
-Printable Tags (click here)
-Tape

How to:

1. Cut one large square of the wrapping paper and one large square of tissue paper
2. Fold the tissue paper in half, meeting opposite corners
3. Lay the folded tissue paper on top of the wrapping paper square, lining the edges to create a colorful backdrop behind the flowers
4. (Optional) Wrap the bottom of the stems with the twine or ribbon to create a clean look for the stems hanging out of the wrap
5.Fold the bottom of the wrapping paper upwards and the corners of the tissue paper in so there is no extra hanging over the wrapping paper (Shown below)
6. Lay the flowers on top of the stacked paper with just a small overhang of paper at the top of the flowers
7. Fold the wrapping paper corners inward (Shown below) and then wrap one side at a time over the flowers, tapping down as you go
8. Using string to tie a gift tag of your choice around the bottom and ta-da!
