Ok guys things are getting serious over here, I’m talking whipped creamed topped and caramel dripping serious.
But first some not so serious business.
The other day I was at the grocery store with Steve picking up a few things to make chili and my favorite apple crumble to finally use the apples we picked up from the apple farm.
So we’re about to head out of the store and I double check my list one last time and realize I forgot the vanilla bean ice cream to go on top of the crumble, because what’s a crumble without ice cream. I tell Steve I have to go grab one last thing for the apple crumble so we can finally use those apples we picked.
“Uh, what apples?” says Steve. “The ones from the apple farm that I’ve been saving to bake with” I reply. “Oh, so that’s what those were for?” Aka he ate them already.
So on to plan B.
A quick and easy caramel apple pie recipe using “canned” apples and light yogurt. Plus after a day of running errands, I think this was a much better option as it literally takes 5 minutes to make and no baking needed which means only a few dirty dishes.
So during our wild goose chase of looking for iron-on transfer paper for our Halloween costumes, Walmart came to the rescue with 2 packets left which was just what we needed. While there we also picked up the ingredients needed to make these delicious pies; Light & Fit® Greek Apple Pie Yogurt, Keebler® Ready Crust® Mini Graham Cracker Pie Crust, Reddi-wip® original and a few other simple ingredients.
Told you it was easy;)
