A Maxi Affair

Hope everyone had a fun Labor Day weekend! I went back to St. Louis for the weekend and enjoyed time with my family and friends! Before leaving for the weekend I stopped by Target to get a birthday card and of course came out with a dress, new scarf and no card. Target, you get me every time! I spotted this dress when taking a detour to the card aisle and loved the fun pattern!

Normally maxi dresses are hard to find, since I am 5’12” (yes, I know that’s 6′, but what girl wants to say she’s 6′). When I saw the length on this one I didn’t even bother trying on because I could tell it was a long one. I bought it and when I got home I was so excited that it hit at the ankles and when I bent over I didn’t have to hold the rear in caution of flashing people behind me! I know you’re probably thinking, oh she probably played basketball in high school. No, sorry I’m too clumsy for that. However, I did play tennis but am no Serena Williams that’s for sure.

As mentioned before there’s no such thing as perfection, but when you find a maxi dress that doesn’t look like you borrowed it from your little cousin that’s pretty close to perfection if you ask me!

dress/shoes(Old Navy, love these)/clutch(old, loving the pop of color of this one)/necklace
