Fall Fashion Flashback

Putting together an outfit for fall, piece of cake. Cramming a photoshoot in while out of town for your college homecoming game, not so much.

While I may not have gotten around to a photoshoot this past weekend in between tailgating, catching up with friends and acting like I was back in college. I did, however, get a chance to switch out my summer closet with my fall/winter clothes and man did that create a whole new wardrobe.

Nothing beats coming up with a new outfit out of old items. I’m rounding up some of my favorite items from last year that are sure to be on repeat again this fall.

Happy Friday everyone!

midi dress

The midi dress: This has to be one of my favorite pieces I picked up last year from Zara. A cotton midi dress is the perfect fall piece that can be dressed up with heals and jewelry or made casual with a scarf and booties.

Boots: You never can go wrong with a good pair of boots. These are the one item I always invest in every year since they last me for a long time and I wear them with jeans almost everywhere.

Colored/Patterned Tights: Nothing completes a look in the fall without tights. Bright colored, fun patterned, you name it. I love pairing different style tights under my favorite dresses and skirts to turn a summer outfit into a fall/winter one.

Blanket Scarf: The perfect warm and cozy accessorize to add to you fall lineup. Worn as a scarf around the neck, over the shoulder similar to a shawl or belted over a dress, this fall staple is a must have this season.
