They say there’s a rule that you can’t wear white after labor day, but I’ve never really been one to follow the rules. Rebel child, right?
Not quite, just not accepting the fact that we’re going to be living in dark jeans and sweaters soon. No more skirts and dresses without tights…sigh. And no more bright colored clothes…BIG sigh.
I’ve always been one to have the most colorful closet, organized in rainbow order of course too, but when it comes to fall black, whites and neutrals are everywhere.
So to slowly transition into Fall, I’m changing things up with a black and white look. Last weekend we had nothing but rain all weekend and while I wasn’t going to waste one of my only free weekends lately inside I decided to throw on the sneakers, white jeans and my new favorite rain coat for a day around town.
Finger crossed for no rain this weekend as everyone heads out for the holiday! Happy “extra long” weekend everyone!
