Wedding season is in full bloom and if you’re like me it’s the perfect excuse for a new dress. A fun, colorful and moveable (so you can break it down on the dance floor, of course) dress. Also in this case, one that would hold up for a 3 hour car ride and 12 hour day of celebrating.
So the other weekend when I get to Kansas City for a wedding (congrats Joe and Cassie!), I knew I needed a fun light weight dress to be able to bear the heat, but also a comfortable and wrinkle free one to hold up during a 3 hour car ride to the city. This dress was perfect for the occasion. From the car ride at 7am to the last dance at midnight, this dress held up through it all. Now my hair on the other hand, not so much but hey at least the dress looked good.
It was such a beautiful celebration and great weekend catching up with friends. It wasn’t even my wedding and I was sad it was over hah. Guess it’s time to start dress hunting for the next one;)
