Father’s Day Gift Guide

Father’s Day is around the corner which means time to spoil the guy who’s been there for you since day one. Now knowing someone your whole life would make you think it would be a piece of cake  to buy them a gift, right? Not the case. I always have the hardest time finding my dad the perfect gift.  I over think it for so long that it ends up being Sunday and I’m like ” Mom, I need to go by the ATM on the way to brunch to get money out for dad’s card”. Ugh, every year I tell ya.

Not this year though, I’ve rounded up some of my top Father’s Day gift choices for every type of dad including my sweet tooth loving, Shelby Cobra car building, always keeping me motivated and loving dad. Happy Father’s day dad!…Yes, you can share this on your Facebook wall now:)

And since it’s almost Father’s Day I have to share one of my favorite memories of my dad. We all have those moments when we want to close one eye and act like we don’t know that guy but this one was the complete opposite. My family and I tried out for Double Dare 2000 (oh yeah, you remember that show from the 90s) and they asked if anyone in the audience had a special talent. I look at my family laughing only to see my dad raising his hand. Wait, what? Oh dear lord, dad put your hand down. Really dad, they just called you up you can stop being funny now. Instead my dad goes up on the stage, sits on the ground (keep in mind I’m barely watching at this point) bends over and does an old fashion head stand. I’m taking prop your knees on your elbows and push up style head stand. I’d have to say I was one proud daughter. I couldn’t even do that myself haha and we got to be the on show all thanks to dad’s head stand. Never fail to amaze me dad:)
