Nothing says Fall like plaid, pumpkin spice lattes, and 78 degrees? Well not too sure about that last one, but I’m definitely not complaining about it either because I know I will be pulling out the snow boots shortly. This past weekend I worked one of the greatest food events in Chicago, Chicago Gourmet. I had an amazing time working with my team and getting to see Chef Graham Elliot cook live! While it was a great weekend, by the end I was ready to throw on something casual and enjoy the last of the warm weather.
I love a basic white t-shirt because you can do pretty much anything with it. I kept this one casual with a pair of dark wash jean shorts and a flannel tied around the waste. I paired it with my favorite ankle boots from Old Navy and a top knot to keep it simple. After a long week of work this was the perfect Sunday attire to hit the town.

Still struggling on how to make a great top knot. You have to share you secret! Also, love the flannel!
Thanks Katie! The throw up top knot is my go-to and you may have read my mind, keep an eye out for a future post;)
Love it!
