Why does Monday always have to come so soon? I got hit with the sore throat bug last weekend and can’t seem to get rid of it. You know when you think you’ll be fine because you were good and took medicine all day and laid low so it should obviously go away. Well I thought taking some Vitamin C and going to bed before 1am the other night meant I’d be good as new the next day. Man was I wrong, I woke up the next day feeling like I got ran over by a bus the night before haha. If only a day had more than 24 hours to recoup than maybe I could rest, but no time to rest when Steve leaves next week. We’ve been trying to explore and experience as much as possible before he leaves, which means date nights every free night we have together. Last week we managed to squeeze a dinner date in after I got off work at a casual al fresco restaurant downtown. I’ll be honest I’m not mentioning the place because we were not impressed hah, but enjoying the last of the summer weather and each other’s company is all that mattered:)
