Valentine’s day is here which means time to pull out
everything pink and red in my closet! I was hoping I would get a chance to go
buy a new outfit this year before the weekend, but time seemed to slipped away
from me and next thing I knew it was time to pull something together. I love
this outfit because it can be so versatile and almost every girl can find
something similar to these items in her closet. Since I live in Chicago and
can’t even remember what the outside of my apartment building looks like
without snow, I decided this year was all about layers and a pop of pink. I
layered my dark wash chambray shirt with a grey sweatshirt that already had an
embellished neckline, but if you don’t have a jeweled sweatshirt, I would
simply just add a cute statement necklace under the jean collar to dress it up.
For the bottoms, I dug out my pink jeans from last Spring and finished the look
with diamond stud earrings and silver sequined shoes! Simple but festive 🙂 Happy Valentine’s Day!
