Dress: Rent the Runway  /  Heels: Kohl’s  /  Earrings: Rent the Runway

Move over little black dress, there’s a new color in town and it just so happens to be my favorite. Maybe that explains my obsession with Valentine’s Day.

Chocolate, pink, everything heart shaped…just my kind of holiday.

Also just my kind of thing to be running around last second looking for a dress. I guess I got too caught up in perfecting my heart shaped eggs benedict for my Valentine’s day brunch plans that I totally forgot to find a dress for the evening.

This year I got put in charge of the day plans which, spoiler alert, include heart shaped eggs benedict (Steve’s fav) and Steve got put in charge of the night plans. I’m usually pretty good at guessing where he picks for our date nights. Maybe it’s because I keep a running list on my phone of everything I want to see/eat/do in the city and he just so happens to always need to borrow my phone before a date night (sneaky, sneaky). However, this year I surprisingly have no clue. I was told to wear a nice dress and plan for a whole night of activities. Hmm…

Guess I’ll let this one be a surprise;)

As for my dress, I found this adorable pink number at Rent the Runway to borrow for the evening. Fun, flirty and perfect for the pink themed holiday. I paired it with some open toed nude heels and gold/pearl earrings from Rent the Runway as well.
