Apple Orchard Picking. Now say that 5 times out loud really fast. Ok yeah it sounds the same, I just wanted to make sure you were with me;)

So when it comes to apples, I can think of about 50 different ways to eat them. With peanut butter, in apple pie, sauteed with pork, caramel apples, cinnamon apple oatmeal, apple butter, apple martini. Ok, maybe you don’t use a real apple in a martini but it’s Friday we could all use a drink right?

Or maybe two…

Last weekend Steve and I spent our Sunday at the apple farm being total kids. We went through the corn maze, ate kettle corn, did a hayride and of course ate our year’s worth of apples while walking through the apple trees.

I was on the hunt for the perfect red apple until I saw a spider about the size of my hand above my head in the trees. (silent screams under my breath as I slowly backed out of the tree)

Yup, that was my cue to leave.

We managed to grab enough apples to make an apple pie this weekend. Aka I bake, Steve taste tests. Win-win situation.

Anyways, the weather has been beyond amazing these past few weeks. I’m talking no jacket and it’s almost November! So while apple picking I threw on my favorite skinny jeans and ankle boots with a long sleeve tee and belted blanket scarf paired with a floppy hat. Perfect for the warmer fall weather we’re having.
