Yesterday we celebrated Steve’s 25th birthday. Can’t believe this is the 6th birthday I will have been able to help him celebrate and a big one at that.
16 is all about driving, 18 you’re finally legal, 21 you no longer have to use your fake ID and 25 you’ve hit a quarter of a century. To me that’s a pretty big deal!
I still get told all the time “you’re so young”. Marriage? but you’re so young. Another promotion? but you’re so young. Wanting to do 50 million things with my life? But you’re so young, you have plenty of time. I get it, I get it I’m “so” young but in my eyes age is just a number.
A number that has allowed for some incredible memories to be made, opportunities to be taken and goals to continue working for. No matter if you’re 12 or 72, what you make of that number is what really matters. So I say enjoy life at every age and break the rules a little to get where you want in your lifetime. I mean you only are that number one time after all.
Speaking of breaking a few rules…
I know they always say don’t wear white after labor day, but with the warmer weather we’ve been having lately I say bring on the white and navy looks. I paired this look with a casual open toe brown heel and my new favorite coat from ALTAI. Perfect for a fall day outing or a weekend of birthday celebrations;)
