Can we go back in time? Like back to when I submitted the application to my dream apartment 30 minutes after another couple. Yup, you guessed it. I didn’t get that apartment, even after crossing my fingers, toes and basically everything on my body, I still lost it to another applicant who beat me by 30 minutes.
I guess that’s life though, things aren’t always going to go your way even if you work hard for it…or bribe your realtor with $50 to sneak your application on top. Terrible right? I’d say I didn’t do that, but I’m not very good at lying. I guess this is another live and learn lesson of the city. If you love an apartment sign the application on the spot and if not don’t bother bribing your realtor…you’ll end up $50 in the hole. While I was super bummed about loosing the apartment, I’m also being optimistic that there’s a better one out there. I just hope I find it sooner rather than later:)
On another note, I’ve been loving the classics lately. Never can go wrong with a black and white look and a pop of color on the heels. Any color you want actually since Shoes of Prey lets you customize your shoes all the way down to the materials and heel size. Pretty amazing right?
