Ok, so I caved. That Kate Spade bag I dreamed about in last week’s post (here), I bought it. So I’ve been living off cans of tuna and pb&js this week…haha no I’m kidding. I actually got lucky and the Friends and Family sale happened the next day so I couldn’t pass it up!
Also, I’m starting to think this blog is becoming a bit of a jinx. I talked about the bag and then it went on sale. Last week I talked about warmer weather and this weekend it’s suppose to be 70 and I talked about my computer being gone for a week and I got it back in 4 days…hmm what to talk about next. Now that I think about it, works been pretty crazy this week and a vacay sure sounds nice;)
Anyways, back to the bag. I never mind splurging on a good bag that I can reuse for seasons to come, just like a good button down top. I’m all about white button downs as you can dress them up for work or wear them casual for the weekends. This button up is more of a tunic style, so I belted it to add a little shape and layered it with a floral scarf over the shoulders. I wanted to make this look more causal for running errands or grabbing coffee with friends so I paired it with my boyfriend jeans and favorite loafers from last season.
