Happy half way through the week! I don’t normally get to say that since I don’t typically post on Wednesdays but with the holidays and so many things to share, I just can’t stop posting!
Last week I went home to spend the holiday with family and friends. I was having such a wonderful time seeing everyone, I got a little behind on e-mails and social media for the blog..opps. Although I had to play catch up on the 5 hour train ride back, it was worth it to spend the time being in the moment while I was home. Sometimes after e-mailing all day at work and then coming home and e-mailing all night for the blog, I forget to put time aside to have face to face or over the phone conversations. Don’t get me wrong I have met some pretty remarkable people over e-mails and yes, over instagram but interacting face to face will always be the best way to communicate for me! It cracks me up when I meet people I’ve been talking to on instagram for weeks at an event and we both laugh and say “so this is what your voice sounds like” haha. Oh the joys of social media.
On the other hand, it’s Wednesday and I’m finally all caught up! Wahoo! Time to get out and enjoy these random last few days outside before the negative temperatures hit, bbrrr. I’m enjoying this weather with a few of my winter staples, one of my favorite midi dresses, an over-sized plaid scarf and ankle boots. Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving holiday and is staying warm!

I know all too well about getting behind on emails, but I'm with you…being present is what's most important! You look so amazing in stripes and the length couldn't be more perfect 🙂
