A Tartan Friendsgiving

It’s all smiles over here on the blog and for so many reasons! Let’s start with the obvious, it’s Thanksgiving week which means family, pumpkin pie and a super short work week! I love the holidays and no complaints here about a few extra vacay days. I’ve also been working on some extra fun projects with some pretty remarkable people, including this lovely lady featured below (everyone say hi to Katie from Little Black Blog. If you haven’t checked out her site, head over now for some great gift guides and style tips). While I am dying to tell you more, I am keeping my lips sealed…guess that means you’ll have to keep following along to find out;) On another note, I was lucky to take a trip this past weekend to visit one of my best friends from high school in Madison! It’s always fun getting away and exploring a new city, especially with your best friends.

This will be my first year not hosting the annual “Friendsgiving” as most of us have moved away and are unable to get together in the short amount of time we are home. What happened to the college days when I got to go home and bum around the entire week of Thanksgiving, oh how I miss those. However, I wanted to share my Fall outfit I’ve been living in lately that would make the perfect outfit for a Friendsgiving. A loose blouse, allowing extra room for turkey and a blanket tartan scarf for warmth and an added touch of pattern. PS I got this scarf off ebay for $7 (score!).

Shop this look: Scarf // Tunic Top // Jeans // Boots (old, similar here) // Watch // Earrings
