Hello Friday! It’s about time you came around.
This week has been an extra long one, but it’s not over yet. We’re just getting started with the Valentine’s Day weekend celebrations.
Yup, the hearts, flowers and everything pink/red continues.
Not your style? Don’t worry there will be plenty of chocolate and champagne to go around as well;)
Ok let’s get down to business. Champagne and DIY business that is.
This weekend while I won’t be in town to celebrate the holiday with Steve, I will be heading to New York for a bachelorette party where there will be plenty of champagne popping to go around.
Champagne ad New York City? What’s not to love about this holiday weekend?
Whether you’re celebrating with your man or with the girls over mimosas, these last minute rose straws are the perfect addition to your champagne sipping.
Who needs overpriced roses anyways?
These little rose straws don’t require water, won’t die on you in less than a week and are so easy to make I should be embarrassed.
So grab the fun straws, your craft supplies and a (few) bottles of champagne for this super cute and fun holiday DIY!
Supplies
-1 Valentine’s Day Felt Rose kit (or you can make your own, tutorial here)
-pack of striped straws
Instructions
- Follow the instructions to create your felt rose leaving a little gap in the middle to slide it onto a straw.
- Once done, slide the rose onto a straw followed by the leafs and put a small drop of hot glue under the leafs to hold it in place.
Yup, it’s that easy!
Happy Valentine’s Day weekend! Any last minute crafts your whipping up or cocktail recipes for your gal-entines party?
