It’s Halloween and I’m sharing all the details on my costume this year! I’m not one to pick your usual costumes, so when I saw this flower bouquet costume below I knew I had to recreate it! What more could a girl want to be for Halloween then a life size bouquet of flowers, right?

I make tissue paper flowers all the time for different gifts and projects, but this was the first time making ones the size of my head. I found this great tutorial, here, that gives easy step by step instructions on how to make them. Once I had the flowers created I took a table pad cover and cut it down to a square with two holes for my arms. I put it on an angle to create a point at the bottom and top behind my head to look like wrapped flowers (kind of hard to tell in the picture, it was a bit windy and wouldn’t stay up). I bought red ribbon and a bow from the Christmas section at Target and tied it around my waist. I wore black leggings and a long sleeve black shirt underneath paired with black bow heels.
Girly, fun and not scary…my kind of Halloween costume. Follow me on instagram (@meganpatty) tonight to see how I made this a couples costume with Steve! Hope everyone has a fun/safe Halloween filled with lots of candy and pumpkin beer:)

Thanks Britt! It's super easy and cheap to make too, added bonus;) Please do and feel free to come back and share it, I'd love to see how it turns out!
Did you glue the flowers onto the table cloth?
I didn’t in this photo, I just kind of shoved them in once I put on the table cloth but I did have issues with them falling out all night so do thinking gluing them would be a good idea! Send me a pic of you make it:)
