“Pop it, lock it, polka dot it.”

Anyone remember that song? Don’t worry I’m not breaking it down to Hannah Montana songs, but I am doing the happy dance about the fact that I can finally pull out my spring dresses! I actually pulled out my spring wardrobe to switch out my closet 3 weeks ago and instead have been staring at all the colorful pieces and floral skirts in the bin while I’m still putting wearing my black skirt with tights to work in the morning.

But not for much longer because spring is finally (almost) here…or at least that’s what I keep hearing from the weather man in the mornings.

And since I don’t want to jinx it quite yet, I’m going to keep my spring wardrobe right where it is…in the bin for now until I see sunshine and upper 60s on my morning commute.

However this polka dot number was a recent addition to the spring closet and a definite must wear for last weekend’s first sunny and slightly warm day! I paired this with my favorite floppy hat and a tied at the waist belt to add some shape. Pulled out my favorite lace up heels and black clutch for a little brunch date with Steve:)
